Background: Molluscum
Contagiosum is a common viral skin infection, caused by poxvirus,
commonly affects young children. Although there is no specific treatment
for this infection, many therapeutic modalities has been used with
different success rates.
Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness of topical 20% KOH, 20% KOH with pricking and pricking alone as comparative treatments for molluscum contagiosum.
