Breath Acetone as Biomarker for Lipid Axidation and Early Ketone Detection
Comparison of urine, blood, and breath ketone measurements. Simultaneous
measurements were performed using standard commercial equipment,
SIFT-MS for breath acetone, capillary blood monitor for blood glucose,
and dipsticks for urinary ketones (see experimental section). The ketone
levels (keto level) were normalized by the highest ketone level
measured within the corresponding method.
