Journal of Novel Physiotherapy and Physical Rehabilitation Figure 1: The red circular area represents the ventrogluteal injection site, while the black one represents the dorsogluteal injection point. The black line indicates the distance of the ventrogluteal site to the anterior superior iliac spine. Research Article Comparing the Distances of Different Intramuscular Gluteal Injection Sites to the Sciatic Nerve Introduction: Sciatic nerve injury is a well-known complication of intra-muscular gluteal muscle injections. Affected individuals usually present with foot drop and this results in varying degrees of motor disability. There are different sites such as ventrogluteal, dorsogluteal that can be used for gluteal injections. In last years, the ventrogluteal site is accepted as a more safe and suitable injection site than dorsogluteal site.  http://www.peertechz.com/Novel-Physiotherapy-Physical-Rehabilitation/JNPPR-2-119.php
Journal of Novel Physiotherapy and Physical Rehabilitation Research Article Mutifidus in Spinal Stability: Analysis of Inhibition with Muscle Activation Techniques Objectives: To (1) study the relationship between multifidus muscle activation and perception, (2) to explore the correlation between the failure of the multifidus and back pain, when (3) tested with the MAT technique and back pain questionnaire. Design: Three months prospective before/after quality improvement project.   http://www.peertechz.com/Novel-Physiotherapy-Physical-Rehabilitation/JNPPR-2-118.php
International Journal of Dermatology and Clinical Research. Case Report. Advances in Treatment Options for Psoriasis. Psoriasis is a skin disease that is evidenced primarily by plaques which can be seen throughout the body. Genetic predisposition that combines with an environmental trigger of the immune system is believed to be the root cause of psoriasis. This leads to signaling factors which coordinate the progression of inflammation and psoriatic plaques. http://www.peertechz.com/Dermatology-Clinical-Research/IJDCR-1-101.php

Global Journal of Anesthesiology,   CASE REPORT,   Cerebrospinal Fluid Cutaneous Fistula after Uneventful Epidural Analgesia A cerebrospinal fluid cutaneous fistula is rarely a complication of epidural analgesia. Cases in adults and children have been reported after complicated epidural catheter insertion in spinal surgery [1], CSF lumbar drain insertion [2] and in immunocompromised patients [3]. We report a case of cerebrospinal fluid cutaneous fistula after uneventful thoracic epidural catheter insertion and discuss its diagnosis and management.   http://www.peertechz.com/Anesthesiology/GJA-2-107.php

Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiology CASE REPORT Home Monitoring of Implantable Remote Loop Recorders Expedites Intervention    A 70 year old woman was referred by her local medical practice with recurrent syncope. These episodes were infrequent (5 episodes over a 12 month period) and lasted only a few seconds with a prompt recovery. There were no stigmata of fitting such as incontinence or tongue biting. She had no palpitations, chest pain or other cardiovascular symptoms associated with these. At other times she remained active with no chest pain, dyspnoea or palpitations. http://www.peertechz.com/Cardiovascular-Medicine-Cardiology/JCMC-2-112.php
Journal of Clinical Research and Ophthalmology,   EDITORIAL,    Neuropeptide Research in the Eye,   The neuropeptide research in the eye is the main topic of our scientific group in Innsbruck. Most of the neuropeptides have been discovered more than 30 years ago and the presence and distribution of some of them has been explored in the eye in the 80´s mainly by Richard Stone. This concerns particularly substance P (SP), calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP) and neuropeptide Y (NPY). Whereas SP and CGRP have been found to be constituents of the sensory innervation of the eye, VIP is present in the parasympathetic and NPY in the sympathetic innervation of the eye. http://www.peertechz.com/Clinical-Research-Ophthalmology/JCRO-2-115.php
Global Journal of Allergy,   RESEARCH ARTICLE, Recent Topics in Steroid and Asthma: Beyond the ‘Classic’ Concept of Action, GCs can have an anti-inflammatory effect and a pro-apoptotic action for disease therapy. Administration of adrenal extracts was first reported to reduce the frequency of exacerbationsof asthma in 1900 [1]. Several steroids were isolated from the adrenal cortex during the 1940s by Edward Kendall. GR was cloned and expressed in 1985 [2]. Clinical trials of inhaled steroid in asthma were started in about 1970 [3,4]. Now, there is widespread use of GCsin patients with bronchial asthma, via oral, intravenous, and especially inhalation routes. However, the complete picture of GC and GR function remains to be elucidated.   http://www.peertechz.com/Allergy/Allergy-1-105.php
